Peace, Please
My mind is in clamor
No peace can be found there
The traffic drives me crazy
No quite place to spot anywhere
The quite place you ask for is nowhere to be found in this little world
The calm soul you seek isn’t ready to meet others
The serenity you long for hasn’t revealed itself yet
The placidness in her glaze won’t appear anytime soon
The puzzle fall into pieces again
Pieces you could never have imagined
It was a hundred-piece puzzle
But now it’s a thousand pieces, what a surprise!
The mess you’ve never seen in your entire life
Is now living with you
Grabbing your hand so tightly
Covering your eyes with no gap
Then, what should I do?
Live as if nothing happened?
Drown in the chaos as if there’s no more sunshine in my life?
Or let the numbness slowly devour me?
I just ask for peace and quiet place
A tranquil mind
Is that too much to ask?
Can you lend me that, at least for an hour?
